General Policies and Requirements for the submission of Abstracts.

• Only one abstract submission per author as a FIRST AUTHOR is permitted. However, one can submit more than one abstract as a second or higher author.
• Authors can submit an abstract for a paper that has been submitted to a journal, but is not yet accepted at the time of abstract submission deadline; However authors cannot submit abstract for a paper that has been accepted and/or is ‘in press.
• Only original abstracts will be accepted. Abstracts previously accepted and published by other societies are not eligible for submission. Abstract content must be previously unpublished material. Results from a manuscript that has been submitted for publication and is currently under review are acceptable.
• Submitters whose abstracts have been accepted will be expected to attend the meeting and present their papers. A registration confirmation must be received four weeks prior to the conference date in order for the abstract to be included in the program.
• All abstracts will be peer reviewed by the Scientific Committee who reserves the right to accept and reject abstracts for inclusion in the Conference Program.
• Abstracts will be grouped by section topic.

Abstract Content
• The purpose of the abstract is to define the precise subject of the presentation to an audience. Sufficient details of the study must be included in the abstract, so that others can confirm the research.
• The interdisciplinary nature of the Conference participants should be kept in mind, when writing the abstract.
• The abstract should be in 'Mini Paper Format' that includes such details as the objectives of the research, methodology employed, results and conclusions.
• It is the responsibility of the presenting author to ensure accuracy of content, spelling and presentation as abstracts will be published exactly as submitted.

Closing Date for Abstract Submission is January 15, 2007

Modes of Submission
Abstracts can be submitted via the Abstract Submission Form on the Conference website.

If you are unable to submit in this format, you can send it by email at administrator2007@politicalmarketing.ro. If this is the case please follow the exact guidelines for submission.

The Conference Communication Officer (administrator2007@politicalmarketing.ro) will not be responsible for abstract submissions not received via the above three modes of submission.
Abstracts on diskettes/CD-Rom will not be accepted.

Abstract acceptance notification
Abstract acceptance notification will be sent to presenting authors by the February 5, 2007, together with instructions for full paper submission. The instructions for full paper submission will be also posted on the conference website.

Size of the Abstract
The Abstract cannot be longer than 500 words written in the English language. Abstracts exceeding the word limit will be rejected.

The abstract must be submitted as a word or text document.

Font and Font Size
The requested letter font is:  Times New Roman.

The title:
12-point
Bold
Centered
All Caps
italics

The text:
12-point
single spaced
left justified

Figures, Tables & Drawings
Figures, tables, drawings must be computer generated.

Line 2: Name(s) of the author(s) in bold with left justification
             Omit degree(s) and title(s)
             For multiple authors with multiple affiliations, use superscript numbers to correlate authors with affiliation and address

Line 3: Affiliation(s) in bold with left justification
             May require more than one line

Line 4: Address(es) in bold with left justification
             May require more than one line

Line 5: Leave blank
Line 6: Begin text and diagrams

Abstract File Format
1) Must be submitted as a Word or text file.
2) Alternately you can use the Automatic Submission Form

Confirmation of Abstract Receipt
Confirmation of receipt of the submission will be sent by email to the first author listed.

Contact the Conference Communication Officer, Ms Irina Bota (administrator2007@politicalmarketing.ro) if you DO NOT receive an e-mail within 48 hours (two days) of submitting your abstract.
Lack of email confirmation indicates that your abstract was not received.

Note: Compliance to the specifications is important - any abstract that does not comply with these specifications may not be accepted for review.
